Scientific discussion meeting organised by Dr Alex Copley, Dr Owen Weller, Dr Clare Warren and Professor Peter Cawood. It will focus on the interplay between deformation, metamorphism, and rheology of the lithosphere.

The meeting will unite international experts in geodesy, seismology, metamorphism and rheology to characterise and understand the geological controls on fault behaviour, guiding future studies and advancing our understanding of earthquake hazard.

Meeting papers will be published in a future issue of Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society A.
